OVERVIEW: This thick braided fiberglass sleeve protects personnel from hot hoses while it cuts heat energy losses. The thick silicone exterior layer will not adhere to human skin. Available up to 4" diameters.
The sleeve can reduce the outer temperature of a steam hose from 380F to 130F, and can be installed on hoses operating up to 500F continuous, and for 2000F for 15-20 minutes, 3000F for 30 seconds.
